About the course
Lake Bolac Golf Club is on Complex Road in the township of Lake Bolac. It is a nine-hole course with grass greens and couch fairways, and the upkeep is done by the club's members.
Eighteen-hole rounds are played as two loops of the nine, and from the men's blue tees the full round is par 72, with 36 on each loop. On the first loop the par 5s are the 4th and 6th and the par 3s the 2nd and 8th; on the second loop the par 5s fall at the 15th and 16th, with par 3s at the 11th and 17th.
Because the greens are grass, the club plays all year. Its posted results show regular Sunday competitions, mostly stablefords with stroke rounds through the season, and Tuesday golf, with the women's championship rounds played on Tuesdays. Events on the 2026 calendar included the annual tournament with a four-ball event in late February, a Good Friday ambrose, the Lake Bolac Cup in May, and the club championships and H.A. McMaster event over three Sundays in October.
