About the course
Mortlake Golf Club was formed in 1902 at the foot of Mount Shadwell and moved to its present site at 38 Hopetoun Street, Mortlake, in the 1930s.
It is a nine-hole course with grass greens and couch fairways. The greens, fairways and tees are all fully watered, so golf is played all year round.
Visitors are welcome. Competitions are held on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so check times with the club before turning up on those days. The Visit Great Ocean Road listing links to GolfNow for tee-time bookings, and the club's Facebook page is its main online contact.
The clubhouse holds a full liquor licence and is open to visitors after a round.
