About the course
Lexton Golf Club is a country club in the small Pyrenees town of Lexton, affiliated with Ballarat District Golf, which lists the club at 1 Prince Street. The course sits with the Lexton Recreation Reserve, home of the town's football oval, south-west of the town grid. Pyrenees Shire Council's 2019 plan for the town proposed rezoning the reserve and golf course as public park and recreation land.
The course uses sand scrapes in place of grass greens and has bunkers. The association's club listing also shows a practice green, chipping green and driving range, with power carts, push buggies and clubs for hire. The clubhouse opens during events rather than every day.
The club is active on the district calendar, hosting the Charlie and Kitty Grose Golf Day on Sunday 23 November 2025. Its main online presence is a Facebook page. The number of holes, par, green fees and competition days are not published online, so visitors should contact the club before travelling.
