About the course
Canberra International Golf Centre is a golf practice and leisure venue at 61 Jerrabomberra Avenue, Narrabundah, owned and operated by Mulpha Australia. It does not have a full-length course: the golf on offer is an 18-hole pitch and putt course, a 64-bay driving range and an 18-hole mini golf course, along with a retail golf store. The centre's website and social channels say the Swing City brand is coming to the site, and its contact address already uses a Swing City email.
Pitch and putt costs $17 for adults from Monday to Thursday and $20 from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays, with children 12 and under paying $12 and $15. A green fee that includes clubs, a ball and a tee is $27 off-peak and $30 peak. Mini golf is $9.50 for adults, $6.50 for children and $30 for a family of up to four, with clubs and balls supplied.
The 64 driving range bays are all-weather and use Inrange radar tracking, which scores shots against targets, runs practice drills and lets groups play virtual rounds of well-known courses. Bays are hired by the hour: $25 for individual practice, or $45 to $50 for two players and $75 to $80 for four. Hire clubs are available, and players under 16 must be supervised by an adult.
Drive, pitch and putt are open seven days from 9am to 9pm, and the golf store from 10am to 5pm, where a PGA professional handles club fitting and special orders. Lessons and clinics are listed as coming soon. There is no dress code beyond comfortable clothing. Soft drinks and snacks are sold on site, and outside food and alcohol are not allowed. Bookings are made online, and changes need 24 hours' notice by phone on 02 6232 7788.
