About the course

Bonville Golf Resort is on North Bonville Road at Bonville, a few minutes from the Coffs Harbour CBD, at the foot of the Great Dividing Range. The course has been in play for more than three decades and is home to the Australian Women's Classic.

The 18-hole, par-72 championship layout rises and falls through tall flooded gums and pockets of rainforest, with each hole screened from the next. Koalas, goannas, echidnas, swamp wallabies and eastern water dragons live on the property. Every round includes a shared cart, and the carts carry GPS screens that show pace-of-play updates; the maximum time allowed is 2 hours 20 minutes per nine.

Golf is available to in-house guests seven days a week. Public play is on Mondays and Tuesdays (except public holidays), with a very small number of non-stay tee times on other days through the pro shop. For bookings from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2027, 18 holes with a twin-share cart costs $210 on Monday and Tuesday and $295 from Wednesday to Sunday, and nine holes after 2pm is $120. Bookings are essential. Players with a Golf Australia handicap can join the daily men's and women's competitions for an extra $10. Dress is neat, with collared shirts and tailored shorts preferred and soft-spike golf shoes recommended; shoes can be hired. Stay, play and dine packages are sold, with accommodation beside the 1st fairway.

The practice facilities include a driving range behind the accommodation, a putting green in front of the pro shop, and a chipping green and bunker between the 8th green and 9th tee. The pro shop offers club fitting, repairs and lessons through the Bonville Academy of Golf. Dining is at the Flooded Gums restaurant at night and the Bonville Brasserie by day, and staying guests and members can use a billabong-style pool.
