About the course

C.ex Urunga is a golf and sports club on Morgo Street near the centre of Urunga, about 20 minutes south of Coffs Harbour, and is one of the three venues of the C.ex Group. The clubhouse looks out over the Kalang and Bellinger Rivers.

The golf course has nine holes and a par of 35, measuring about 2780 metres, and the course guide has a fly-over video of each hole.

1st: a 270-metre par 4 to start.
2nd: the longest hole, a 447-metre par 5.
9th: a 128-metre par 3 to finish.

Visitors book through the clubhouse on (02) 6655 6161, while members book online. Visitor fees are $40 for 18 holes and $29 for nine, with twilight golf after 3pm at $18.50. Motorised carts cost $45 for 18 holes and $35 for nine, although cart access depends on course conditions. Medley competitions are played on Thursdays and Fridays, and the club also runs men's veterans' golf on Mondays and ladies' competitions during the week. Group golf packages are available.

The club also has tennis courts, a croquet green, a pro shop selling club shirts, a bar with TAB facilities, and The Shank Inn restaurant overlooking the course. An auditorium seats up to 200 for weddings and conferences, smaller rooms take groups of up to 30, and the neighbouring Urunga Riverside Holiday Resort has 32 self-contained apartments.
