About the course
Coffs Harbour Golf Club is on Earl Street in Coffs Harbour, set between the mountains and the sea on the Coffs Coast. The club celebrated its centenary in 2026, opening the year with a celebration night in February and producing a commemorative history book.
The facility has 27 holes in three nines, combined into three 18-hole courses: The Lakes (holes 1 to 18), East Lakes (holes 10 to 27) and West Lakes (holes 19 to 27 then 1 to 9). The Lakes is par 71 for men. Fairways are tree lined, water comes into play on many holes, a fairway watering system keeps the course in condition and there are four sets of tees. Several holes are par 4 for men and par 5 for women.
- 13th: a 382-metre par 4 that bends sharply right around a stand of trees known as the gaol, to an elevated two-tier green.
- 15th: a 163-metre par 3 that often plays into the wind, with bunkers on all four sides and water crossing the hole.
- 24th: a 490-metre par 5 through a narrow chute to a long three-tiered green, with out of bounds all the way up the right.
Social golf is $75 for 18 holes and $37.50 for nine, with carts $45 and $30 twin share, and online bookings attract discounts. Groups of more than 12 book by email through the pro shop. Visitors aged 15 and over with a Golf Australia handicap can enter the medley competitions on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday; women can also play the Tuesday nine-hole and Wednesday events. Thursday men's events are open to visitors outside winter, and Saturday is for members, though visitors can book three days out if spots remain.
The Golf Centre pro shop opens seven days from 6.30am and offers lessons with a PGA professional and club fitting. The bar opens at 10am daily, and the Lakes Cafe serves lunch from Tuesday to Saturday, dinner on Friday and a lighter menu on Monday and Sunday.
