About the course
The golf course at Pacific Bay Resort is a nine-hole par-3 layout in the resort grounds at Charlesworth Bay, Coffs Harbour, on the Coffs Coast. The resort covers about 40 hectares of gardens between the Pacific Ocean and the hinterland, with direct access to the Charlesworth Bay beach, and some of its apartments look over the course and the resort lagoon. The resort reports a recent change of ownership and new management.
The course is open daily from 8am. Road works have reduced it to eight playable holes for the time being. Golf is run from the resort's Golf and Activities Hut, and clubs can be hired; balls and other accessories are sold at the resort kiosk. Green fees, and whether non-guests can play, are not published online. Contact the Golf and Activities Hut on 02 6659 7000 (option 5) or at activitiesmanager@pacificbayresort.com.au.
Other facilities at the resort include three swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts with racquet and ball hire, a gym, a games room, the Tranquility Day Spa, the Bayside Bar and Grill, and a resort bar with a daily happy hour from 5pm, along with conference and wedding venues.
