About the course
Sawtell Golf Club sits about 500 metres from Sawtell village, tucked out of sight of the town with mountains as a backdrop. It is an 18-hole course aimed at golfers of all abilities, and the club runs a full program of member fixtures through the year.
Social golf is booked through the pro shop, which takes bookings between 7am and 5.45pm. The course is closed on some days for maintenance, and daily conditions of play, such as cart access and preferred lies, are posted on the club's home page, so it is worth checking with the pro shop before you travel. The club also hosts corporate golf days.
The clubhouse has a lounge and bar and a terrace looking over the course, with wheelchair access and free parking. The PAR-TEE Bistro opens Tuesday to Saturday for lunch from 12pm to 2pm and on Friday nights for dinner from 5.30pm to 8pm, and bookings are essential. The function rooms seat from 10 to 200 guests, or up to 300 for a cocktail event, and are used for weddings, conferences and celebrations. The clubhouse is closed on Mondays and opens at 10am on Tuesday, 9am on Saturday and 11am on the other days.
