About the course

Braidwood Golf Club is the golf section of the Braidwood Servicemen's Club, on the corner of Coronation Avenue and Victory Street in Braidwood. The clubhouse has a large deck that looks over the course.

The course has nine holes with separate tees for each nine, giving an 18-hole round of par 70. It measures 5,453 metres from the blue tees and 4,870 metres from the red tees. The front nine includes two par 5s, the 475-metre 2nd and the 529-metre 4th, and three par 3s, the shortest being the 141-metre 3rd.

Visitors can play social golf all day Monday to Friday and Sunday, and on Saturdays before 10:30am or after 4pm. Green fees are $30 for 18 holes and $25 for nine. Carts cost $30 for nine holes and $50 for 18, and a set of clubs can be hired for $11. Balls and tees are sold over the bar. Tee times can be requested through the club's online form, by phone or by email, and group packages with transport, meals and accommodation can be arranged.

Men's and women's competitions are held on Saturday afternoons and the ladies also play on Wednesdays. A weekly chook run can be played on any day the course is open, one round per day in pairs, with results settled at 6pm on Thursdays. The course closes until 3pm for club championships, open days and visiting groups, and the club posts these dates on its website.
