About the course

Club Quirindi, the former Quirindi RSL club, runs the town's golf club and its course on Werris Creek Road, Quirindi, on the Liverpool Plains. The town is a little over four hours' drive from Sydney, less than an hour south-west of Tamworth, about 50 minutes from Gunnedah and an hour from Scone. The licensed clubhouse is at 86 Station Street.

The course has 18 holes with dual tees and grass greens. Golf NSW's scorecard lists par as 72 for men and 75 for women, with the course measuring 6,417 metres from the black tees and 5,581 metres from the red. Beside the course is a nine-hole putt-putt layout with oversized sand and oil greens, along with barbecue facilities.

Social golf is open to the public seven days a week, and the social green fee is $20 for a full day. Self-service Vendi carts can be hired every day for $35 for three hours or $40 for five, and can be pre-booked online through Vendi Golf. Members' competitions are played on Saturdays, the women's competition on Thursdays and the veterans on Tuesdays, and Golf NSW also lists a Wednesday midweek competition and a nine-hole format for the Tuesday veterans. Golf enquiries go to golf@clubquirindi.com.au.

The club offers dining, live entertainment, Keno and TAB, and function rooms for conferences and weddings. A 20-room motel is attached to the club, and the town also has hotels, a B&B and a caravan park.
