About the course

Nundle Golf Club is a small incorporated club in Nundle, a historic gold-mining village in the New England region of New South Wales, set between the Peel River and the Great Dividing Range. The village is about 50 minutes by road from Tamworth and around four and a half hours from Sydney.

The course has nine holes with sand greens and is maintained by volunteers. Played twice as 18 holes it is par 70 for both men and women, with a men's scratch rating of 68 and slope of 109, and a women's scratch rating of 70 and slope of 114.

Competition golf is played on Sundays. Visitors are welcome seven days a week, and anyone playing outside competition times pays into the honesty box on the course. Green fees are not published online. Enquiries go to the club by email at nundlegolfclub@gmail.com.

Nundle itself is home to the Nundle Woollen Mill, one of the last working spinning mills in Australia, and accommodation in and around the village ranges from camping and cabins to a motel, bed and breakfast and self-contained cottages.
