About the course

Club Tuross, listed by Golf NSW as Tuross Head Country Club, is on Monash Avenue at Tuross Head, halfway between Moruya and Narooma on the South Coast, about four and a half hours' drive from Sydney and two and a half from Canberra.

The hillside course has nine holes with double tees, giving an 18-hole round of par 70 for men and 71 for women over 5,485 metres from the white tees. Most holes look out over the lake, ocean or mountains.

  • 4th and 5th: the holes with the widest outlook.
  • 6th: a short par 3 that tests the short game.
  • 7th: a 168-metre par 3 with a tee shot over water.
  • 9th: a 507-metre par 5 and the hardest driving hole.

Visitors are welcome and tee times are booked by phoning reception, as times change around events. The green fee is $40 for 18 holes and $30 for nine. Carts cost $40 for 18 holes and $30 for nine (over 18s only), pull buggies $10 and club hire $25. The course is open to social play all day on Monday, Friday and Sunday, and from late morning or afternoon on other days. Competitions run on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, and visitors pay $30 to enter the Saturday event. Results are posted regularly, with the latest in October 2026.

A PGA professional runs the pro shop and junior clinics, and corporate and charity days are mainly held on Mondays and Fridays. The clubhouse has a bistro, bar, outdoor deck, three bowling greens and a community bus.
