About the course
Cumnock Golf Club is a nine-hole sand greens course on Baldry Road in the farming village of Cumnock, in Cabonne Shire in the Central West of New South Wales. The village is about 45 minutes north-west of Molong and about three and a half hours by road from Sydney and Canberra, in a district that produces wool, sheep, cattle and grain. Cumnock is known locally for its sporting and community culture and for the "Animals on Bikes" sculptures and colourful totems along the main street.
The scorecard, par and hole lengths are not published online. Golf NSW lists social golf as available seven days a week.
The main regular event is a nine-hole chicken run every Sunday afternoon: players gather at 3.30pm for a 4pm tee off. Everyone is welcome and no handicap is needed, so it suits visitors passing through. Green fees, booking details and clubhouse facilities are not published online. The club can be contacted on (02) 6367 7145 and posts news on its Facebook page.
