About the course

Yeoval Golf Club is a small volunteer-run course in the village of Yeoval, in Cabonne Shire in the Central West. The town sits at the crossroads of the routes to Molong, Dubbo and Wellington, 41 kilometres from Wellington and 47 kilometres north-west of Molong, and is known for its links to the bush poet Banjo Paterson, whose museum is in town.

The course is at the corner of Warne Street and Munro Road. It lies partly inside the showground, and most holes run beside Sandy and Buckinbah Creeks on the northern side of the village. It has nine small black coarse sand greens, dry fairways and only scattered trees, and volunteers look after it.

Eighteen holes are played as two loops of the same nine. From the blue markers the course measures 4,963 metres and from the red 4,563 metres. Par is 66 to 68 depending on whether the 4th, a 427-metre hole, is played as a par 4 or a par 5. The longest holes are the 4th and the 363-metre 9th, and the 3rd is a 133-metre par 3.

Golf NSW lists social golf as available seven days a week. Green fees, booking arrangements and clubhouse details are not published online.
