About the course

Manildra Golf Club is a nine-hole country course in Manildra, a small town on Mandagery Creek about halfway between Orange and Parkes and about 304 kilometres west of Sydney. The town is home to a large flour mill, the National Bread Show and the Amusu, a picture theatre that has been showing films for over a century. The course is on Orange Street.

The greens are coarse black soil, the local form of sand greens. Eighteen-hole rounds go around the nine twice, using the same tees on both loops. The fairways are wide and dry, with medium-sized trees scattered between them. Golf NSW gives course ratings of 68 from the blue markers and 69 from the red, but the hole-by-hole scorecard and par are not published online.

The club welcomes visitors and suits golfers who want to try sand greens for the first time. Golf NSW lists social golf as available seven days a week. The club runs regular competitions, has hosted junior events and has staged the NSW Men's Fourball Championship. Green fees and booking details are not published online. Contact the club by phone or email before visiting.
