About the course
Del Rio Riverside Resort is a family-owned holiday park on 450 acres beside the Hawkesbury River at Webbs Creek, across the river from Wisemans Ferry. The land was a citrus orchard when it was bought in 1961, and it has run as a tourism business since the 1970s. The resort recommends arriving via the Webbs Creek ferry, because GPS routes over the dirt mountain road are not suitable for towing.
The golf course is a nine-hole, par 29 layout among lakes and native bushland. The opening hole is played across the river, and kangaroos graze on the fairways. The course caters for beginners, families and casual groups as well as regular golfers.
Green fees, and whether non-guests can play, are not published online. Golf clubs can be hired, and group competitions can be arranged through the resort on 02 4566 4330.
Other activities at the resort include a putt-putt course, a swimming pool, tennis courts, water skiing and a cafe.
