About the course
Dunedoo Golf Club is part of the Dunedoo Sports Club at 58 Wargundy Street, Dunedoo, in the Warrumbungle region of central west NSW. The sports club also runs squash, cricket, tennis and touch football, and has a restaurant.
The course has nine sand-green holes with alternate tee positions, so an 18-hole round measures 5,803 metres from the white tees to a par of 72, or 5,574 metres from the red tees. It is set in farming country with plenty of native birdlife. The club hosted the NSW Men's Sand Green Fourball Championship in March 2022, and its women took the scratch team bowl at the 2025 NSW Women's Sand Greens Championship at Nyngan.
Social golfers are welcome seven days a week, with green fees paid into an honesty box at the clubhouse; current visitor rates are not published online. Members play weekly competitions, with veterans on Wednesday and men on Sunday, and members are often happy to join visitors for a round. Groups can arrange a private competition by calling the sports club on 02 6375 1018.
