About the course

Gulgong Golf Club is a volunteer-run club in the 19th-century gold rush town of Gulgong, in the Central West about three and a half hours by road from Sydney. The town featured on the original $10 note and is known for its heritage streetscape, its museum and its clay and ceramics.

The course has nine holes with grass greens. Played twice from either the blue or red tees, it measures 4,496 metres, a par 66 for men and par 68 for women. The nine includes three par 3s in a row from the 5th, of 170, 134 and 166 metres, and finishes with a 363-metre par 4.

Visitors are welcome, and social golf is available seven days a week. Competitions are medley events on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Green fees are not published online. The club has no website of its own; it is contacted by email or through its Facebook page, and it is supported by local community sponsors.
