About the course
Everglades Country Club sits on Dunban Road in Woy Woy, on the Central Coast within about an hour's drive of both Sydney and Newcastle. Alongside golf the club runs lawn bowls, two restaurants and a program of functions and entertainment, and in 2025 it built a new pro shop with an indoor putting green and a golf technology area.
The 18-hole course plays to a par of 67 for men and 71 for women, measuring 5045 metres from the blue tees. It is built on sand-based fairways with well-drained greens, so it holds up in wet weather. The layout is short but tight, with water, bunkers and out of bounds shaping many holes, and the club's course guide notes that its large, undulating greens often lead to three putts.
- 2nd: a par 5 of about 460 metres with a lateral hazard left of the drive and water behind a large, sloping green.
- 4th: a 112-metre par 3 played entirely over water, with the green falling away on both sides.
- 15th: a 194-metre par 3 to a small two-tier green, usually played into a southerly wind.
Visitors can play social golf seven days a week, with start times limited around member competitions, and can book through the pro shop or the online public booking calendar. Weekday social rates for visitors are $45 before 2pm, $35 after 2pm and $30 after 4pm, with higher weekend prices and motorised carts for hire. Twilight golf runs during daylight saving. Competitions are held from Tuesday to Sunday, including a nine-hole women's event on Tuesdays. The club also offers a ParaGolfer mobility device one afternoon a month by booking.
Facilities include the pro shop, the Nine restaurant and bar, alfresco dining and a bowling green.
