About the course
Grenfell Country Club is on Gooloogong Road at Grenfell, the main town of the Weddin Shire in the Central West, roughly two hours by road from Canberra, Dubbo, Bathurst and Wagga Wagga. The club was established in 1937 and, besides golf, has nine tennis courts and a function room that holds up to 260 people.
The golf course is an 18-hole sand greens layout of 5530 metres, par 68 with an ACR of 66. The front nine is fairly flat, while the back nine is hilly and sloping, with rocky ground in places. Fairways are grassed.
Visitors can play at any time, including when the clubhouse is closed, paying green fees through an honesty box that takes digital QR payments. The clubhouse opens on Wednesday and Friday from 5pm and on Sunday from 10am, with a full bar. The club also runs junior golf clinics; in October 2026 eighteen juniors took part in a session with a PGA professional from Cowra Golf Club. Current green fees and competition days are not published online with a date.
Green fees
Paid via the digital honesty box (Green Fees Australia, QR payment), playable any time; juniors $15 for 18 holes and $10 for nine
