About the course

Harrington Waters Golf Club sits on the banks of the Manning River at Harrington on the Lower North Coast, at 41 Josephine Boulevard. The course opened in 2006, making it the newest affiliated course in the area, and the club is owned and run by its members.

The layout is nine holes with 18 separate tees, so a full round measures 5,890 metres to a par of 72. Holes wind through and around wetland, with couch fairways, 328 couch greens and bunkering, and native birds and other wildlife are a regular sight. The club was a finalist in the 2023 Country Club of the Year award.

Visitors are welcome for social and competition golf, and all bookings go through the golf shop on 02 6556 0404 from 7.30am. Social green fees are $45 for 18 holes and $35 for nine, plus a $2 insurance levy per round; visitors entering a competition pay $56 for 18 holes and $40 for nine. Motorised carts cost $60 for 18 holes and $45 for nine, and clubs ($15) and pull buggies ($5) can be hired. Dress is neat casual with enclosed shoes. Social tee times fit around the weekly program:

Sunday is open for social play from 7.30am to 5pm. The golf shop stocks apparel and equipment and arranges lessons, and the clubhouse, open to all, has a licensed café on a deck serving breakfast and lunch from 8.30am daily. Free junior clinics run on Monday afternoons during school term.
