About the course

Kew Country Club is at 185 Kendall Road, Kew, about 500 metres west of the Pacific Highway on the Mid North Coast, 30 minutes south of Port Macquarie and 40 minutes north of Taree. The club began more than 45 years ago as a nine-hole course, which its founding members built up to 18 holes. In 2009 it merged with the Laurieton United Services Club, which now runs its administration.

The 18-hole course was designed by Nagle and Cooper and is set among native gardens with plenty of wildlife. It has gently rolling kikuyu fairways, Penncross bentgrass greens, tree-lined holes and natural water, most notably on the 5th, where a winding creek runs down the left of the fairway.

Visitors can call in for a social round. Under the June 2026 schedule, visitor social golf is $38 for 18 holes and $25 for nine, and the visitor competition fee is $42. Carts are $50 and $30, club hire $20 and pull buggies $5. Tee times are booked through the pro shop on 02 6559 4596. Men's competitions run on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, with nine holes on Friday; women play on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday; men's veterans play on Monday and juniors at noon on Saturday.

The Golfland practice area has a driving range with Trackman, where a large bucket and 30 minutes of shot tracking costs visitors $30, and an indoor Trackman simulator room at the same price. Range buckets start at $8. The club also has mini golf, two synthetic bowling greens, an air-conditioned clubhouse with a bar, and the Fairways Bistro. The clubhouse opens from 8am daily, closing at 6pm except on Friday, when it stays open to 10pm.
