About the course
Holbrook Returned Servicemen's Golf Club plays on an 18-hole course behind the Returned Servicemen's Club in Holbrook, the Hume Highway town known for its submarine heritage, about 45 minutes' drive from Albury. In March 2026 the club hosted the Women's World Sand Greens Championship for the first time, a 36-hole stroke play event with a $125,000 purse, co-sanctioned by the WPGA Tour of Australasia and broadcast on Kayo.
The course has sand scrape greens. Men play to par 71 over 6,058 metres from the blue tees, with white tees at 5,874 metres, and women play to par 72 over 5,288 metres.
- 5th: a 201-metre par 3.
- 8th: a 524-metre par 5.
- 15th: the longest hole, a 533-metre par 5.
Social golf is available seven days a week. Competitions are held on Wednesday (ladies, 10am), Thursday (men and veterans, 10am) and Saturday and Sunday (mixed, 10am), with nine-hole twilight golf from 4pm on Fridays. Women's competitions run from April to November. Green fees are not published online.
