About the course

Iluka Golf Club is at the corner of Iluka Road and Hickey Street in the North Coast village of Iluka, and describes itself as a family-friendly club for members and visitors.

The course has 10 holes with 18 tees, measuring 5,371 metres from the men's tees and 5,106 metres from the women's, with par 70 for men and 71 for women. The longest hole is 492 metres. Greens are couch, and trees, bunkers and sea breezes are the main hazards.

Social golf is available seven days a week and can be booked online. The club's published visitor fees are $45 for 18 holes and $30 for nine, with reciprocal club members paying $35 and $20. Visitor cart hire is $50 for 18 holes and $30 for nine. The weekly program:

Tuesday: veterans, 8.30am to about 12.30pm
Wednesday: women's 18-hole competition, social golf from 12.30pm
Thursday: nine-hole eclectic from 2pm, plus a 5pm shotgun-start fun round in daylight-saving months
Saturday: open competition 8am to 12.30pm, social golf from 2.30pm
Sunday: social golf

Major events on the club calendar include a birthday weekend in February and the Iluka Open in October, and a 2026 fixture book is published on the club's site.

The clubhouse bar opens at 8.30am daily, closing at 6pm Sunday to Wednesday and 9pm Thursday to Saturday, and runs a daily beer raffle, live music and Friday night events. The club has a golf professional.
