About the course

Lithgow Golf Club is at 2 Golf Links Road, Marrangaroo, on the western side of the Blue Mountains, about an hour and a half from the Sydney CBD. The clubhouse is a federation homestead built in the 1850s and converted for club use, with a function room, pro shop, balcony and bar.

The course is an 18-hole, par 72 layout with grass greens, 5992 metres long. From the blue tees it measures 6001 metres, and women play to par 73 from the red tees. Its longer holes include:

  • 7th: a 499-metre par 5.
  • 10th: a 501-metre par 5.
  • 18th: a 162-metre par 3 to finish.

Non-members pay $37 for 18 holes of social golf and $27 for nine, or $39 and $29 to play in competitions. Anyone can play for $15 after 4:30pm. Carts cost $40 for 18 holes and must be booked through the golf shop. Tee times are booked by phone on 02 6351 3164, and members book online. The golf shop opens every day. Competitions run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with social play on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The golf shop is stocked by Drummond Golf Penrith and can arrange club fittings. The Eskroy Park Bistro overlooks the course. The clubhouse opens Wednesday to Saturday, from 11am on weekdays and 10:30am on Saturdays.
