About the course
Randwick Golf Club sits on the coast at Malabar, about 10 km south-east of the Sydney CBD, overlooking Long Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The club was established in 1960 and plays on a public access course, with a licensed clubhouse looking out over the water.
The 18-hole course is links style and short: par 59 for men and par 62 for women, measuring 3,545 metres from the back tees. There are ocean views from every tee, and the club says beginners are welcome.
The social times and prices below took effect on 1 January 2026. A round costs $39 on Monday and Friday all day, Tuesday after 10.30am, Wednesday before 7.30am or after 11am, and Thursday after 11am. On weekdays the price drops to $29 after 3pm (4pm in daylight saving). At weekends the public can play after 11.30am for $49, or $39 after 3pm. Juniors pay $19 ($22 at weekends) and pensioners $29 on weekdays. Carts cost $30 for nine holes and $50 for 18, or $45 from Monday to Friday. Bookings are essential, so call the pro shop on (02) 8347 3733 to check availability. Non-members can sign in at the clubhouse as temporary visitors, and social membership costs $25.
The pro shop opens from 6.30am to 5.30pm, and PGA professional Darren Buhagiar gives lessons. Parking is free. The Bay Window restaurant serves contemporary Australian food from Wednesday to Sunday, with lunch from noon to 3pm and dinner from 6pm to 9pm. The clubhouse runs trivia on Wednesday, a schnitzel night on Thursday, meat raffles on Friday and live music on Sunday, and opens at midday on Monday, 10am from Tuesday to Friday and 8am at weekends.
