About the course
Karumba Golf Club is on the Karumba Developmental Road at Karumba, on the Gulf of Carpentaria in the Carpentaria Shire. The course has sand greens and is ringed by mangrove forest, with views out over the Gulf.
The club hosted the Outback Queensland Masters in 2023 and again in 2025. The series covers more than 1,900 kilometres of outback Queensland, and in 2025 Karumba was its final stop, staging the Million Dollar Hole-In-One Challenge for amateur and social golfers from around Australia.
The Carpentaria Shire Council lists the venue as the Karumba Golf Club and Recreation Club, with phone numbers (07) 4745 9100 and (07) 4745 9751. The clubhouse has a bar and serves food and refreshments, and the grounds include lawns and gardens. The Karumba Recreation Club nearby has further facilities, and the club's tourism listing says it welcomes people with access needs.
The number of holes, par and green fees are not published online, so phone the club before visiting.
