It is run as part of Darebin's leisure venues and is set in wooded parkland, with fairways and greens laid out among established trees. The course measures about 5.8 kilometres from the men's tees and 5.6 kilometres from the women's, with a slope rating of 108, and the operators describe it as suited to beginners as well as regular players.
The course is open to the public seven days a week from sunrise to sunset. Bookings are recommended, though walk-ins are taken when there is room. Weekday green fees are $40 for 18 holes and $27.50 for nine; on weekends and public holidays they are $43.60 and $28.55. Twilight golf after 3pm on weekdays costs $18.70, and there are concession and junior (under 16) rates. Motorised carts and hire clubs are available, with a full set of clubs costing $25. A free app handles tee bookings, GPS distances and digital scorecards. Route 350 buses run along Plenty Road.
The 12-bay driving range has TrackMan technology in every bay and is booked by time (30, 60 or 90 minutes) with unlimited balls; food and drinks can be served to the bays. There are also putting and chipping greens. Group clinics, junior lessons, workshops, private lessons and club fitting are on offer, and a food truck serves the deck from 11am to 3pm, Thursday to Monday.
