About the course
Hepburn Golf sits on Golf Links Road at Hepburn, just over five minutes from Daylesford, on Dja Dja Wurrung Country. Formerly Hepburn Springs Golf Club, it was bought by Golf Services Management (GSM Golf) in April 2024 and is open to the public seven days a week. The course marks its centenary, 1926 to 2026, with a clubhouse open day and open golf on 13 November 2026 and an Ambrose event on 14 November.
The 18 undulating holes measure 4,665 metres, short by modern standards, with couch fairways and native wildlife around the course. The longest holes are the 16th at 406 metres and the 10th at 403 metres. Beginners can play from a forward set of tees, with the regular blue tees for more experienced players. Rounds of 18, 13, nine and five holes are offered.
From 1 October the adult fee is $53 for 18 holes and $43 for nine or 13. Unlimited golf after 3pm costs $33, and "Fun 5", a five-hole round, is $33 or $39 with clubs and balls (the all-inclusive option is not offered on Tuesday or Wednesday). Juniors pay $26.50 for 18 holes and $20 for nine or 13, and players from local postcodes 3460, 3461, 3364 and 3458 pay $45 for 18 holes with ID. Groups of nine or more pay $45 each. Motorised carts are $46 for 18 holes and $38 for nine, and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays two self-serve carts can be pre-booked online. Club and buggy hire is $25, or $15 for a beginner's set.
The elevated clubhouse is fully licensed (no BYO), serves snacks and coffee, and has a fireplace inside and an outdoor deck with a barbecue and course views. A small golf shop sells balls, apparel and accessories. The clubhouse is generally open Thursday to Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment.
