About the course

Mildura Golf Resort is on Twelfth Street, a few minutes from the centre of Mildura, with resort rooms beside the course, some looking onto the first fairway. Eric Von Nida is the best known of the golfers who have played here, and the club still recalls the 68 he shot on the day.

The 18-hole championship course measures 6,014 metres and is built on red sand, with well-contoured fairways and natural undulations, mature native vegetation and water hazards. The club keeps the course in condition all year round.

Every green fee player gets one entry into the ACE Society hole-in-one challenge on the 12th, with a minimum daily jackpot of $5,000.

Visitors are welcome, but all social play must be booked with the Golf Shop before you arrive; the shop also handles tee times, equipment hire and club fittings. Clubs, pull buggies and motorised carts are available for hire, with no cart hire after 3.30pm. In winter the shop opens from 7.30am (7am on Wednesdays and Saturdays) to 6pm, but closes during the Wednesday competition from 11am to 4pm and the Saturday competition from 1.30pm to 4pm. Group golf packages can be arranged through resort reception.

Fairways Bistro overlooks the course and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a seniors' lunch from Wednesday to Friday, nightly specials, happy hour from 5pm to 7pm and live music on Friday nights. The resort also has an entertainment lounge and function rooms.
