About the course
Robinvale Golf Club Resort is about 3 km from the Robinvale township on the Murray Valley Highway, heading towards Swan Hill, in the Murray River country between Mildura and Swan Hill.
The 18-hole course has watered fairways and greens set in native Mallee bush, and its tight fairways and small greens call for accuracy. It measures 5580 metres and par 70 from the men's tees, and 5015 metres and par 71 from the women's tees.
Visitors can play social golf seven days a week outside club competition times. Competitions are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with a nine-hole competition from 4.30pm on Fridays during daylight saving and a social nine-hole competition on winter Sundays, teeing off between 10am and 3pm. The main events are the Open Tournament in May, the Blossom Classic on the day before the Mallee Almond Blossom Festival on the third weekend of August, and a three-day Festival of Golf leading into it. Green fees are $35 for 18 holes and $20 for nine. Motorised carts cost $40 for 18 holes and $30 for nine, push or pull buggies $5 and club hire $15 a set. Social members and non-members pay $25 to enter the weekly competition.
The clubhouse is open every day from 10am and has a sports bar with TAB and Keno, plus gaming. The Sandbunker Bistro serves lunch Tuesday to Saturday and dinner Monday to Saturday, and bar snacks are available all day. Beside the clubhouse are 19 accommodation units, including king rooms, twin rooms and two-bedroom apartments, and the resort offers play and stay packages. A courtesy bus runs on Tuesday to Saturday evenings within 12 km of the club.
