About the course
Newry Golf Club is on Three Chain Road at Newry, in the Wellington Shire of central Gippsland. The course is next to the Newry Recreation Reserve, where the shire provides a free 72-hour rest area with grassy camping sites, toilets and room for caravans and larger RVs.
The club describes itself as a public 18-hole course, so visitors can play without being members. Membership is welcome, including an affordable country membership for golfers who live further afield. Tuesday is listed as a main competition day for men, and the current program is posted on the club's Facebook page.
Par, course details and green fees are not published online, so check with the club through its Facebook page before travelling.
