About the course
Toongabbie Golf Club is a volunteer-run club on the Traralgon-Maffra Road at Toongabbie, in central Gippsland. Its 18-hole course plays to a par of 72, with the men's course measuring 5817 metres (slope rating 117) and the women's course 5280 metres (slope rating 120).
The layout is flat and easy to walk, with wide fairways lined by trees. The greens are grass and their surrounds are watered, and the course is set up for golfers of all abilities.
The course is listed as open every day, and players from other clubs are welcome to join the weekly competitions:
- Tuesday: women from 9.30am, men from 9am.
- Saturday: men from 9am.
Start times move half an hour earlier during daylight saving. Current green fees are not published online, so phone the club on (03) 5192 4755 or email tgc3856@gmail.com before you travel. The club also posts news and membership details on its Facebook page.
The clubhouse can be opened on request for larger groups.
