About the course
Oakleigh Public Golf Course is a nine-hole public course at 2 Park Road, Chadstone, in Melbourne's south-east. It runs beside Scotchmans Creek, is owned by the City of Monash and is managed by Bluefit.
The course is a par 29 of about 1,460 metres, made up of seven par 3s and two par 4s (the 1st and 6th), and it suits players of all ages and abilities. The creek comes into play on several holes and the greens vary from large and elevated to small and tricky.
- 1st: a 321-metre par 4, a tight double dogleg with the creek on the right.
- 4th: a 111-metre par 3 to a demanding green, with trouble right and long and a big tree on the left.
- 8th: a 130-metre par 3 to a long, narrow green with heavy bunkering on the left.
- 9th: the longest par 3 at 174 metres, finishing at a large green with a gully down the right.
The course is open to the public seven days a week, from 6.30am to 5.30pm in winter and 6am to 8pm in summer. Tee times can be booked online. For the 2026/27 season, adult green fees are $32.40 for 18 holes and $23.20 for nine on weekdays, and $37.05 and $27.80 on weekends and public holidays, with concession and government card rates available. Club hire is $30.85. The course notes that fees are pending council resolution, so check with reception.
Facilities include three practice nets, a practice putting green, a pro shop offering club fitting and repairs, PGA coaching and junior clinics, plus a social club room and barbecue area.
