About the course

Wodonga Golf Club is on Clubhouse Place in Wodonga, in the Albury-Wodonga and Murray River region about three hours north of Melbourne. The course is set in natural bushland where native trees are a feature, and Felltimber Creek winds through the layout.

The 18-hole course measures over 6,100 metres, and its length together with the creek gives it its challenge. Each hole carries a name, with the first five called Boomerang, Hunch Back, Panorama, Missing Gum and Parkhall Alley.

The course is open daily except Christmas Day to visitors, local groups, social clubs and corporate days. Book tee times through the pro shop on (02) 6059 1552. Green fees for the 2026/27 season are $42 for 18 holes and $30 for nine; carts cost $44 and $30, and club hire is $15. Club competitions are held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and a nine-hole competition runs all day on Fridays, with non-members paying $22. An open day on the second Sunday of each month is open to players with a Golf ID and handicap, at $25 for non-members.

The pro shop is the only golf shop in Wodonga and offers club fitting, repairs and regripping. PGA professional Tim Purtill gives individual lessons from $60 for 30 minutes and runs beginner and intermediate clinics. Zach Murray, who started playing at the club in 2008 and went on to win the 2018 WA Open and the 2019 New Zealand Open, also coaches. The Clubhouse Bar & Bistro serves meals from Wednesday to Sunday, with bookings on (02) 6059 1079.
