About the course

Araluen Estate lies in the Roleystone hills on Perth's south-eastern edge, in a valley the estate calls the Enchanted Valley. The golf course opened in 1994 and is cut into the hillside through native bushland, with water hazards and steep changes in elevation. The estate also hosts concerts, festivals, weddings and functions.

The championship course has 18 holes, par 72, and measures 6,364 metres from the back tees, and there is also a rated par 3 course. Out of bounds runs along the right of the 2nd and 13th holes, and the 9th and 16th have water down the left.

The course is open to the public all year, with tee times booked online; groups of more than 13 players use a separate enquiry form. Members of the Araluen Estate Golf Club, which began on 1 January 2026, play competitions on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and visitors can book spare places in those fields. Public green fees booked online are $75 for 18 holes and $45 for nine on weekday mornings, with cheaper rates from 9.30am and higher rates at weekends. Because of the hills, motorised carts are strongly recommended: seats are booked with the round, and a driver's licence must be shown at check-in. Hire sets for men and women, in right and left-handed versions, and pull buggies are available. Dress is a collared shirt with tailored shorts or slacks, and soft-spike golf shoes or clean runners.

The practice area has a driving range, practice bunkers, a chipping area and a putting green, with range buckets sold in the golf shop. The clubhouse combines the shop, which stocks apparel, balls and accessories, with a café serving coffee, snacks, cold drinks and tap beer. The course hosts the Araluen Cup, part of the PGA Pro-Am Series. Phone 08 9397 9000.
