About the course
Collier Park Golf is a public golf centre on Hayman Road in Como, near Curtin University and about 15 minutes from central Perth. It is run by Clublinks, and the City of South Perth is co-funding a redevelopment of the facilities with the operator.
There are 27 holes, laid out as three nine-hole courses: the Pines, lined with tall pines, the Lakes, and the Island. You can play nine holes or combine two courses for 18. No membership is needed, and the social Fairway Golf Club offers a handicap for regulars.
Bookings are online or through the app only, opening at midday eight days ahead. Prices move with demand: Monday to Thursday, 18 holes costs $31 to $40 and nine holes $25 to $31, with concessions on those days; Friday to Sunday and public holidays cost more. Twilight golf must be booked. Carts are $50 for 18 holes and $40 for nine midweek, and hire sets with a pull trolley are $35 and $25. Dress is casual, but shoes must be enclosed and singlets are not allowed.
Construction of the new facilities began in March 2026, with launch planned for 2027. The plans include a two-storey driving range with technology in every bay, a restaurant, function space, padel courts, a new golf shop and a playground. The golf course itself is not changing and stays open, although some paths have been diverted, construction traffic crosses the Pines, and the practice putting and chipping greens have been closed during works.
The current floodlit driving range has up to 20 bays and is licensed, and there is also a mini golf course. Lessons with PGA professionals run seven days a week. The licensed Collier Cafe opens dawn to dusk daily, and drinks bought there can be taken on the course.
