About the course

Marri Park Golf Course is a public course at Casuarina, a suburb of Kwinana about 36 kilometres from the Perth CBD, or roughly a 30-minute drive. The suburb is named after the Casuarina, a 30-ton cutter commanded by Louis de Freycinet during the French exploration of the Western Australian coast in 1802 and 1803, and after the casuarina trees found in the area.

The course has 18 holes and a par of 72, and it is home to several social clubs that hold their competitions here.

Visitors are welcome seven days a week. Opening hours change with the season: 7am to 5pm in winter, 6.30am to 5.30pm in spring and autumn, and 6am to 6pm in summer. Hire equipment and carts must be returned 15 minutes before closing. Weekday green fees are $34 for 18 holes and $25 for nine, or $44 and $31 on weekends and public holidays. Seniors pay $29 and $20 on weekdays, and juniors pay $20 and $15 at any time. Motorised carts cost $48 for 18 holes and $34 for nine, from a fleet of more than 40, and hire trolleys are also available. Club sets hire for $25 for 18 holes or $20 for nine, pull buggies for $8 and single clubs for $4.

There is a driving range, where only irons may be used, with range balls at $9. The pro shop handles bookings, club repairs and range instruction, and is staffed by long-serving professionals Rob and Glen, who between them have more than 70 years in the game. The venue also has a tavern and parking, and can host golf days and events for groups of any size.
