About the course
Preston Beach Golf Club is a community-run club in the coastal settlement of Preston Beach in the Shire of Waroona, beside Yalgorup National Park. The clubhouse is at 33 Panorama Drive.
The course has nine holes laid out through natural bushland and around salt lakes, on undulating ground with sandy fairways, and kangaroos often share the fairways with players. Par and hole lengths are not published online.
Visitors are welcome. The club plays a Friday Scroungers stableford at 2pm and a Sunday competition, mostly at 2pm with some 9.30am starts, and casual games are played on other days. The 2026 calendar lists competition games at $10 for non-members and $5 for members, with social games free for members. Special days include an Easter Cup, a Spring Cup, a Halloween day when players dress up their carts, and a Sponsors Day, and the club championship is played over five Sunday rounds from June to October.
The clubhouse has a licensed bar run by volunteers, open from 4.30pm on most Fridays and Sundays, and the club holds $10 dinner nights with raffles on the second Friday of most months. Enquiries go to the club at pbgcsec@outlook.com, and changes to the calendar are posted on the club's Facebook page.
