About the course
Waroona Golf Club is on Hill Street in Waroona, about 111 kilometres south of Perth. The club was established in 1932 and plays over an 18-hole course with sand greens, laid out through natural bush that carries wildflowers in season.
Green fee players are welcome at any time and bookings are not essential. The fee is $10 whether you play nine or 18 holes. The preferred way to pay is by card through the QR code on the small desk near the clubhouse front door; you can also pay by bank transfer, or by cash in an envelope through the door slot after writing a receipt to carry during your round. The dress code is relaxed but neat, and shirts must have a collar.
Competition groups have priority on the course and visitors are asked to let them through. The ladies play on Wednesday mornings, and the men on Thursday and Saturday afternoons. The club also holds open days, such as a mixed open weekend in September.
The clubhouse has a fully equipped kitchen and bar, and it can be hired for group and social functions, with trestle tables and chairs available.
